Getting Started with the Mailchimp Data Studio Connector
Setting up the Mailchimp Data Studio Connector is simple and should take only a couple of minutes. There are two ways that you can connect Mailchimp accounts. The first way is if you have a Basic plan or a free preview - in this case you will only be able to link one Mailchimp account to Data Studio at any given time. If you have a Pro or Agency plan, you will have the option to link multiple accounts at one time.
Using a Single Mailchimp Account
1.) Add the Mailchimp by Epilocal connector as a new data source in Data Studio
2.) Authorize the connector to access your Google account. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure to select the Google account that you use with Data Studio
3.) If you have an Epilocal account, ensure that the correct Google account is added as a user for the connector. When you start your subscription, the Connector will assume by default that the email you created your Epilocal account with is the same email that you use Data Studio with. If they are different, you need to change this by logging into your Epilocal account and going to the account management page. Scroll down to the find your Mailchimp Data Studio Connector subscription under My Subscriptions.
Then click on Manage Users and change the email address to the one that you use with Data Studio. (if you have a Pro or Agency plan, you can add more than one user at a time)
4.) You will be prompted to connect your Mailchimp account to Data Studio by logging entering your Mailchimp username and password. Follow the prompts.
5.) Select which data view you want to work with from the dropdown menu: Campaigns, Automations, or List Growth. You can see a full list of the available data fields for each view here.
